Basic regulation

Para. 1

The Library regulations are published on the basis of the constitution of the Mladá Boleslav Town Library, published on 1.9.2002. The Regulations establish the conditions for providing services in the Central Library and in the branches.
Every visitor to the Library must keep to the provisions of the Library Regulations and to the general legal norms, is reuired not to damage Library property, to be quiet and orderly in the library spaces, and to follow the instructions of the Library staff.

Para. 2

The Library is a basic library in the sense of §12 of Act No. 257/2001 Sb. on libraries and conditions for conducting public libraries and information services. The following services are provided for users:

Lending out information sources (books, periodicals, maps, musical items, etc.) to visitors to the Library and for taking away
Lending out information services through the interlibrary loan service, i.e., obtaining information sources that the Library does not have in its own stock
Lending out audio-documents
Providing basic bibliographic and information services
Access to the internet

These services are provided within the price of a 12-month subscription

Reserving requested information sources
Reprography (copying from information sources owned by the Library)
Information from computer databases
Information via information networks
Library searches

The user pays for these services in accordance with the price list (Appendix No. 1 to the Library Regulations), which is subject to change.
